There are two types of user of Florence Academy. We call them public learners and private learners.
Public learners
You are a public learner if:
You do not get access to Florence Academy through your employer, and
you pay for any certificates you earn, yourself.
Private learners
You are a private learner if:
You have access to Florence Academy through your employer, and
you do not pay for any certificates you earn.
Will I lose access to my certificates if I leave my employer?
No. If you are a private learner who gets access to Florence Academy through your employer, you will not lose access to your certificates if you leave your employer. Any certificates you earn through Florence Academy while employed by an organisation are yours to keep.
When you leave an employer, or your employer stops using Florence Academy, your account will transfer to a Public Learner account. You can continue to access your certificates under the same login details. You will be given the opportunity to redownload your certificates.
