How to Access Your Notification Settings

You can find these options by clicking the More Options menu (⋮) in the top-right corner of your dashboard and selecting 'Email Preferences'.


Understanding Your Notification Controls

You have granular control over your email alerts, allowing you to reduce noise and only receive the most important updates.

Master Control: Turn off all emails

This is the main switch for all notifications.

  • What it does: Ticking the ‘Turn off all emails’ box at the top of the page will stop all non-essential email notifications for all your locations, including new applications, timesheet submissions, and cancellations.

  • Use with caution: This is a powerful setting. Only use this if you want a complete break from email updates.

Control by Employment Tier

This section allows you to stop receiving notifications for entire categories of staff.

  • How it works: If you untick a box next to an employment tier (e.g., 'Florence staff' or 'Bank staff'), you will no longer receive any emails related to that group across all your locations.

  • Example: If you only manage your internal bank staff and don't want alerts about Florence agency staff, you could untick the 'Florence staff' box.

Control by Location

This is the most detailed level of control, allowing you to manage notifications for specific locations and email types.

  • How it works: For each location listed, you can individually tick or untick boxes for different notification types:

    • Applications: Alerts about new applicants for your shifts.

    • Timesheets: Notifications that a timesheet has been submitted and is awaiting your approval.

    • Cancellations: Alerts when a shift is cancelled by either you or a professional.

    • Important: This setting overrides the 'By employment tier' setting. For example, if you untick 'Applications' for a specific location, you will not receive application alerts for that location, even if all employment tiers are selected above.

By using these three levels of control, you can customise your email preferences to perfectly match your workflow.
