Location Welcome Packs

You can upload a custom Location Welcome Pack for each of your locations to help healthcare professionals feel prepared and welcome before their shift begins.

This is your opportunity to share important, practical information about your location, its residents, and your ways of working. A great welcome pack leads to a smoother, safer, and more positive experience for everyone.


How to Upload Your Welcome Pack

  1. Navigate to your account Settings. You can typically find this in the More Options menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.

  2. In the 'Location settings' menu on the left, click on ‘Location welcome pack’.

  3. You will see an upload box. You can either click to browse for your file or drag and drop your welcome pack into the designated area.

  4. Once the file is uploaded, click ‘Save’.

The welcome pack will now be automatically shared with professionals after they are booked for a shift at that location.


What to Include in a Great Welcome Pack

We recommend a simple PDF document that includes helpful information such as:

  • Key Contacts: A list of key staff members and their roles.

  • Arrival Information: Details on parking, the specific entrance to use, and where to report on arrival.

  • On-site Essentials: Information about break rooms, locker availability, and any kitchen facilities.

  • Key Policies: A brief overview of your most important policies (e.g., mobile phone usage, dress code).

  • A Welcome Message: A short, welcoming note to help the professional feel like part of the team for the day.
