Your Reporting dashboard is a powerful tool for making data-driven decisions about your staffing. It provides a clear overview of your shift fill rates, total spend, and cost trends, helping you optimise your budget and workforce strategy.

This guide explains each section of your reporting suite.

Your Key Metrics (The At-a-Glance View)

The top of the page provides a live, year-to-date summary of your most important numbers.

  • Total booked shifts: The total number of shifts you have successfully filled so far this year.

  • Total spend: The total amount you have spent on completed shifts this year.

  • Future bookings: The confirmed cost of all shifts that are booked but have not yet taken place.

  • Forecasted spend: An estimated total spend for the full year, calculated based on your current activity.

In-depth Reports

This section provides interactive graphs to help you explore trends over time. Before you dive in, you can use the filters at the top to narrow your view by professional role or a specific date range.

Shifts Filled Graph

This chart visualises your success rate in filling shifts. It helps you understand your staffing funnel, from posting a shift to getting it filled. By analysing the different bars, you can identify opportunities to improve your fill rate.

Scheduled vs. Actual Hours Graph

This chart compares the hours you originally scheduled for shifts against the actual hours worked and approved on timesheets. It's a useful tool for identifying trends in overtime or shifts that consistently run shorter or longer than planned, which can help you improve the accuracy of future scheduling.

Average Hourly Cost Graph

This chart tracks the average all-in cost per hour for the staff you book through the platform. Use this to monitor your spending trends and understand the impact of factors like rate changes, bank holidays, or last-minute bookings on your overall budget.

Downloading Your Data

You can export your report data for your own internal analysis or to share with your finance team.

Simply set your desired filters (role, date range) and click the ‘Download’ button in the top-right corner. This will generate a CSV file of the data for you to save.
