Submitting Timesheets on Behalf of Workers
Sometimes, workers need help submitting their timesheets for payroll. Normally, workers do this automatically through the check-in/out feature or by submitting the timesheet in their Florence app once a shift is complete.
However, we know that things don’t always go to plan - internet issues, missed submissions, or other hiccups can happen. To make sure workers are still paid correctly, clients can now submit timesheets on behalf of their workers for completed shifts.
Option 1: Submit Timesheets Matching Scheduled Hours
In most cases, the hours worked match the original scheduled hours.
Clients can quickly submit these timesheets in bulk:
Go to Timesheets > Awaiting Submission
Tick the checkboxes in the left-hand column for each shift you want to include.
Submit them together - workers will be paid based on the scheduled hours.
This is the fastest way to make sure payroll runs smoothly when no adjustments are needed.
Option 2: Submit Timesheets with Different Worked Hours
If the worker started late, finished early, or worked different hours than scheduled, you can adjust this manually:
Click on the specific shift row.
In the side panel that opens, enter the actual start and end times.
Save your changes to submit the correct timesheet.
This ensures the worker is paid accurately for the time they actually worked.

Encourage workers to use the check-in/out feature whenever possible - it helps keep timesheets accurate and saves everyone time later.
