We know cancellations are sometimes unavoidable.
However, cancellations at the last minute (defined as within 24 hours of a shift start time) can be very damaging for care teams, services and residents.
If you cancel three shifts last minute
If you cancel three times less than 24 hours before shift start in any 30 day period, Florence reserves the right to put your account on hold.
If you turn a worker away from a shift
If you do not cancel a shift and the worker arrives to work the shift, you may be subject to pay them compensation.
If a worker cancels three shifts last minute
If a worker cancels less than 24 hours before shift start three times within any 30 day period, they will be immediately suspended from using Florence for three months.
During this time, they won’t be able to book new shifts, attend any booked shifts, submit timesheets, or access their account.
If a worker doesn’t attend a shift
If a worker does not cancel a shift and then does not attend the shift, their account will be immediately suspended for three months.
