If you propose a worker and they are unable to work the shift for any reason you can withdraw the applicant you have proposed by selecting the shift and navigating to the bottom of the page you will see ‘Your applications’ and an option to ‘Withdraw worker’.
If you select this it will show you a confirmation page and you can confirm by selecting ‘yes’.

Once you have withdrawn the initial worker you can propose a new candidate for the shift.
