Florence can’t access your location, it might be because location permissions are turned off on your phone or browser.
Here’s how to turn them back on — it only takes a minute!

For iPhone (iOS)

You’ll need to check two places: your main location settings and your browser settings.

1. Check your iPhone’s Location Services

  1. Open SettingsPrivacy & SecurityLocation Services

  2. Make sure Location Services is turned ON

  3. Scroll down and find your browser (e.g. Safari or Chrome)

  4. Tap the browser name

  5. Choose Ask Next Time Or When I Share or While Using the App

  6. Turn Precise Location ON

2. Check your browser’s settings

For Safari:

  1. Open Settings → scroll to Safari

  2. Tap Location

  3. Choose Ask or Allow

  4. You can also tap on flex.florence.co.uk if it appears, and set it to Ask or Allow

For Chrome:

  1. Open Settings → scroll to Chrome

  2. Tap Location

  3. Choose Ask or While Using the App

For Android

You’ll also need to check both your device and browser settings.

1. Check your phone’s main location settings

  1. Swipe down from the top of your screen

  2. Press and hold the Location icon (it looks like a map pin)

  3. Make sure Location is turned ON

  4. You can also go to SettingsLocation to check this

2. Check your browser’s site settings

For Chrome:

  1. Open Florence in Chrome

  2. Tap the lock or site settings icon next to the address bar

  3. Tap Permissions

  4. Turn Location ON

For Firefox:

  1. Open Florence in Firefox

  2. Tap the three dots (⋮) on the right of the address bar

  3. Go to SettingsSite settingsLocation

  4. Choose Ask to allow → then tap Go to settings

  5. Tap Location and select Allow only while using the app
