Using the Registration/ Clock-in Page

Written by Tom

The Registration page gives you a live, real-time view of who's on site, plus a historical record you can filter and export. It's designed to work as a standalone display — perfect for a big screen or tablet in your home — as well as a quick lookup tool when you need to check who was in at a particular time.

Where to find it

Go to Staff, then click the Register button at the bottom of the page.

What you'll see

At the top of the page, you'll see a live count of how many people are currently on site. This number updates automatically every 60 seconds, so it's always current - no need to refresh.

Below that, staff are split into two groups based on the last 24 hours:

  • Currently in (shown in green) - staff who are clocked in right now

  • Clocked out - staff who worked today but have since clocked out, along with their clock-out time

A note on missed clock-outs: if someone hasn't clocked out for any reason, they won't have a timestamp in the list but they will still display as having been on shift that day.

Filtering the register

Use the filters to narrow down what you're looking at - by date, time, unit, or staff member name. This is especially useful if you need to look back at a specific moment, for example checking who was on site during a particular incident on a past date.

You can filter by:

  • Date/time range (including historical dates, not just today)

  • Unit or location

  • Staff member name

Exporting your data

Use the Actions menu to download a CSV of the register.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • The CSV will reflect whichever filters you currently have applied - check your date range, location/unit, and staff filters before downloading.

  • If you're on the Live view and download, you'll get a CSV of the current live view.

  • If you're on a historical/filtered view, the CSV will reflect that filtered range instead.

This export is useful for reporting purposes - for example fire safety checks, audits, or any situation where you need a documented record of who was on site and when.
