Profile pictures are used to help care organisations identify healthcare professionals when they arrive for their shift.

This means that pictures should be taken as a passport-style image.

If a picture is uploaded that does not meet the standard expected this picture may be removed and the staff member marked as non compliant until a sufficient image is uploaded.

What can we accept?

  • The picture shows their full face and shoulders.

  • A clear, well-lit image.

  • Only the individual in the image.

What will we not accept?

  • Anything covering the care professionals face

    • I.e. face mask, sunglasses, hats/caps covering the face

  • Filters on images.

  • Pictures of other ID badges.

  • Pictures of other photographs.

  • Upside down images.

  • Full body images (cannot see face).

  • Person facing sideways.

  • Pictures that are closely zoomed in and you cannot see their full face.

  • Pictures that are too far away.
