We understand that circumstances may arise where a booked worker is unable to attend their shift. To address this, we’ve made it possible for agencies to cancel the original worker and propose a replacement candidate within the product.
Key points to note:
- A booking only becomes official once the client approves the proposed replacement. 
- The client is under no obligation to approve the new candidate. 
- All worker swaps must be completed through the Florence platform. 
How it works:
If your worker cannot complete a shift, you’ll have two options on the platform: cancel or swap:
If you select swap, you’ll be shown a list of eligible workers to propose as an alternative:
Once you’ve selected a replacement, you’ll confirm the swap request:
What happens next?
- Florence will notify the client, informing them that the originally booked worker has been cancelled and a replacement has been proposed. 
- The shift will also be released to other agencies while awaiting the client’s decision.
